Color picker

This tool is strongly related with the color tuner palette. As you may
understand from its name the color picker tool just picks color information from the
image. Using it you can define the foreground and background colors that are displayed in
the Color Tuner palette. These two colors are
important because they define the current colors that are used by the painting and editing
tools as well as many commands inside Photonyx.
- Select the color picker tool from the toolbar (K).
- Click inside the image to define the Foreground color or Alt-click to define the
background color (you can preview the color values of the pixel beneath the cursor in the Info Box palette).
- Find more options in the Color Picker
palette.
Cursor
You can access
the color picker tool directly while using other Photonyx (drawing tools, line, paint can,
gradient, and finger paint )tools by simply Alt-clicking inside the image to define
the foreground color and Ctrl + Alt-clicking to define the backround of the Color Tuner palette.
